Spotlight on GUILD by @emblembuilt (ha! get it?!) 💡 Taking this beautiful mock-up for a spin before a client sit test @oneworkplace. Versatile, sleek, welcoming and so very comfortable - an easy addition to almost any lounge environment. Months of design and prototyping resulted in the design’s unique springing and combination of foam to give it the perfect casual sit.

Join me in welcoming Alexia - Dame’s Design Intern! She jumped in feet first and has been immensely helpful in supporting our summer event series, using her design background to plan vignettes, delving into the sustainability stories across our lines - and even schlepping furniture samples to clients! I’m so thrilled to have her on board 💃🏻💃🏻 A little about Alexia ✨ - - - Alexia Solís is a current student at the University of Oregon pursuing a Master of Interior Architecture degree. She recently graduated from Cal Poly with a background in Interdisciplinary Studies of architecture and art, and is particularly interested in furniture design, retail and brand design, and spatial/environmental design. When not in studio or wrapped up in other creative projects, Alexia enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling on a budget, being active, and eating good food in good company! She is looking forward to this opportunity to gain exposure to the furniture industry in the Seattle area and the relationships that will develop from this experience!
